Our story:
My friend and I own and run a medspa in Southern California.
We like to provide our clients the best eyelash products based on our
reviews, and the feedback from our clients. There are many
eyelash products claiming to be the best or have a superior results.
You name it, we have tried it--and usually we try the same things and
get the same results. Well, finally we got smart. Now, we just divide
out the products we want to try up and see which one works best.
This time, we started with eyelash growth products since I was having a
lot of trouble with eyelashes. It seemed like every time I looked in
the mirror they looked shorter and shorter—they had to be breaking off
and falling out. I was not about to give up my lashes if there was
something I could do about it.
So like anyone else, I started looking around. With tons of options
and no real authority to help me decide, this was the perfect
opportunity for us to try them all out. And, since some of the main
ones were pretty popular, we wanted to give them a second shot, just
to make sure the results were realistic.
This site is a product of our own personal and clients results.
This site is NOT endorsed by any of these products, but our own
personal feelings on them. We will be adding more as we try more
products - so keep checking back.
The images and weblinks are directly
obtained from the respective sites, but some
products are no longer available or have
been discountinued; therefore, we have
obtained their images from websites that do
sell the eyelash growth products.
Good luck and we help this helps with your search!

ActivLash
- Eyelash Growth Serum and Conditioner Ranking for overall value: 4 stars User friendly: 95% (for easy application, non-irritating) cost: $129 amt: .25 oz (Largest Tube) -
Natural Eyelash Growth Product
So listen up ladies! I almost got left out of this little female
bonding ritual! You better believe I wasn’t gonna stand for that one!
By the time I heard about it, everyone already had a product they were
testing. Good thing I am well-connected—ha.
I actually have a sister-in-law that has a salon and she told me
about a new product that had just hit the market. This was in August,
and I got it as soon as it came out and started to test it out. After
almost two months, I am starting to think I hit the jackpot with this
one.
I applied it directly to my lashline and didn't experience any
burning at all. I used it every morning right before I put on my
mascara. I won't say I saw anything shocking in the first week or two,
but round about week 3 I noticed some thickening and after 6 weeks. It
looked like my lashes were really growing. OH YEAH!! My lashes—not
falsies!
Even though I didn’t really know how to measure my lashes to be
sure of the difference, I could tell how much mascara I used. Before,
I would put on at least 2-3 coats. Now, I am only putting a light coat
on and they look thicker and longer than they did before.
I wanna be completely fair here and I have to admit that Activlash is
definitely on the pricey side. It is comparible with the Jan Marini
and Revitalash, but it still definitely is not cheap!
Now, I haven’t quite gotten through the 8 week mark, but from my
experience with it, I would definitely say that it works, doesn’t
irritate my eyes and it’s definitely worth it!
Active Lash is the only natural eyelash growth product in the market for longer, fuller and thicker eyelashes.
Elaine J.
Thank you Dr. whoever came up with this product! I am totally
singing your praises. I am so happy with the results I have seen. At
almost two months, I can tell a huge difference in my lashes. I had no
problems with it. No burning or stinging at all.
My lashes are much longer and thicker. They almost look like
eyelash extensions. Everyone I see is asking me what I have been
using. I am so glad Lisa called me in for this one!
I gotta agree with Elaine though! The cost is a bit higher than
most of my cosmetic purchases…but I can see results and that is what
is important!

Latisse Ranking for overall value: 4 stars User friendly: 75% (cost factor and repeat doctors visits) cost: $150 - one month supply amt: 3 ml
Expensive, Prostaglandin based, Lots of Side Effect Potential
Hi everyone! I have been into the whole lash conditioning product
craze for more than 2 years. Of everything I've used until now my
favorite has remained Activlash. With all the buzz about Latisse I
couldn't wait for it to come out to see if it lived up to it's
reputation. Ok, so I've been to my doctor twice already and am almost
finished with my second bottle of Latisse. I actually started to
notice them changing by the third week. Now they are really starting
to get much longer and thicker even darker. To be fair the product
insert recommended up to 16 weeks for full results but I have been
really impressed with how my eyelashes have responded already. Since
Latisse is made by the same company that makes Botox I wasn't
expecting to be disappointed and I certainly wasn't. This is a great
product.
If I have any negatives to report with Latisse they have more to do with the
process than the product itself since I am loving my eyelashes right now. I did
experience some minor irritation to my eyelid but mostly from the somewhat
inconvenient disposable applicator which is a bit too rough for me. I'm being
picky here. My biggest issues really have to do with the repeat doctors visits
and the cost factor. Latisse is definitely more expensive then similar products.
At $150 a month for Latisse you can do the math on a 4 month supply. Making time
to get this stuff from the doctors every month was inconvenient.
So now I've used both Lilash and Latisse. Both gave me great eyelashes
without any real significant irritation. Actually my lashes responded pretty
similarly to both. Doctor visits and applicator aside the cost of Latisse is the
only thing that makes me want to give Lilash the edge especially the way things
are now. Of course, you can decide for yourself.
Julie B.
I'm excited I got to be part of the review group this time. I missed the last
round of reviews, so I said the next product they find was going to be mine! And
let me tell you how glad I was to save my place in line for my first "official"
Latisse product review. After close to two months I could not believe the lashes
I have! People who haven't seen me since Christmas noticed immediately! They
swear these can't be my real lashes but they are! Latisse really works. I have
been feeling so much happier with my eye makeup now that my mascara is doing
what I want it to do! My eyes are really popping with my new eyelashes. My
results required patience as in many weeks but it was worth it.
I've learned that Latisse is the first FDA approved drug to grow your
eyelashes. Truth be told, I do wish I didn't feel like I was using a drug. When
I read in the packaging "for the treatment of hypotrichosis of eyelashes" I feel
like my eyelashes must be "sick". There was a long list of possible side effects
some of which were very scary and some I didn't understand. I don't think I've
had any problems and it doesn't bother my eyes. Like any true product junkie I
am willing to look past certain inconveniences(like the price) to be beautiful
but I do want it to be safe too. Latisse is definitely expensive but as long as
it works and I don't have problems I'm going to stick with it. That completes my
Latisse review thanks for reading and I hope it helps.

Jan
Marini Age Intervention Eyelash Conditioner Ranking for overall value: 3.5
stars User friendly: 80% (easy application, but very irritating) cost: $160 amt: .2 oz
Discontinued due to Side Effects and FDA Warnings
Note: Marini Lash is a new formula please read below
Jan Marini definitely knows what she is doing. I used some of her
other skin care products before and they were great. Just like other
products from Jan Marini, this one really does work!
Now, it did totally sting when I applied it to my upper lid. I was
not a happy camper about that one! Usually her stuff is really well
done without any side effects. That was a little disappointing.
BUT—I did see an improvement in my lashes in just 2 months. They
were getting longer! I also saw more fullness than I had before I can
definitely say that this product worked for me!
***NOTE*** for sensitive eyes: it is quite irritating. Mine are ok
right now even with the irritation, so I am going to keep using this
for another month or so and see how much more they will grow!
Melissa C.
When Lisa asked me to help her try some eyelash conditioning
products I was curious about this one. I saw it in my salon every
month when I went to get my hair done, but with the price tag of $160,
I just wasn't sure that a little bitty tube of "magic juice" would
really be worth it. Lisa's experiment finally gave me the excuse I
needed to check it out.
It was easy to use, I just applied it like a liquid eyeliner, but
it was very irritating. I ended up having to skip several days to give
my eyes a break from it. I got online to see what was causing the
irritation, but I am no chemical engineer J and I really couldn’t
figure anything out. But, when I was online I saw that there were some
others who had experienced the irritation, too.
When I was looking around at the message boards I also saw that
this product had been taken off the market for a while. I didn’t
really get the full story, but I did see that when it came back, there
was a different active ingredient. I wonder what the difference in the
two would be?
As far as results go, I did have to skip some days due to the
irritation. So I think my results have been slightly delayed. After
two months, I can tell a difference. My lashes definitely seem thicker
and a little longer, although it doesn’t look over-the-top lash
tangling length like some people have gotten with this product. The
message boards were very positive and pretty much all said you have to
wait at least 2-3 months for real results.
I wouldn't say this is a lifesaver, but I have seen some results.
If you are willing to put up $160 for a little tube of "conditioner"
for your lashes, it does seem like they are really looking healthy and
thick. Maybe three months is the kicker? I'll keep you posted.

New
Jan Marini - Marini Lash Ranking for overall value: 2.5
stars User friendly: 90% (easy application, no irritation) cost: $160 - 5 to 6 month supply amt: .2 oz
Eyelash Growth Serum, No Prostaglandin, Minimal Irritation
As the eyelash growth product pioneer, Jan Marini's reputation
speaks for itself. It was a sad day when her Age Intervention Eyelash
Conditioner was discontinued. Her new Marini Lash has been out for a
while now so I thought it was worth taking a look at it, especially
since I couldn't find many reviews. It's ironic, and definitely worth
noting, that Jan's original active ingredient that caused her so many
headaches with the FDA has now been reintroduced in a
prescription-only product. Patents and lawsuits aside (and I'm no
lawyer here) whatever Jan had to do when she changed formulas, I wish
she could change it back.
Now, in true Jan Marini style, this product did work as she said it would. I
can honestly say I didn't have to convince myself that my lashes were longer or
thicker. Other people noticed also. I do think though, that truthfully, it just
didn't work as well as the first formulation. One of the things I noticed most
with the original was that I also grew a lot of new eyelashes besides longer and
fuller ones. Funny - I guess to me it always seems like the reformulations are
never as good as the original.
Once I started using Marini Lash, it was a slow start, but I could definitely
tell a difference in about 3 weeks. My lashes did look a little longer and there
was a bit more thickness(most evident with mascara). There was no irritation at
all. In fact, after about 12 weeks I could tell that my mascara went on much
more smoothly. (I could put on 2 coats instead of 4 or 5 like I used to do every
day.) I won't say this is a miracle product like some others I have used,
including Jan's herself, but it did do what I expected and I'm pretty happy with
the results. The price tag of $160 is the same as it was with the original but
it feels higher to me than before. Maybe its my expectations that were too high.
With some online deal shopping I would buy this product again.

REVITALASH
Eyelash Conditioner Ranking for overall value: 1.5 stars User friendly: 75% (very irritating) cost: $150 amt: .13 oz
Eyelash Growth Product, Prostaglandin based, New Formula ingredients not provided by the manufacturer, High side effect profile
So yes, this was all my idea—and that being the case, I wanted to
see what I had gotten myself into. Revitalash new formula is a
disappointment compared to its original formula. The new formula
surprised me with the poor results that people were saying they had
with it.
Well, with high hopes, I started using Revitalash once a day as
suggested. I cannot tell you how much it burned when I put it on. The
website said some people had experienced irritation initially, so I
continued to use it to see if it would die down. It continued to be
very uncomfortable, so I would have to skip a day here and there to
give my eyes a break. But I was a trooper—and used it all the way
through the 10 weeks.
The good news is that I finally stopped using Revitalash. The
new formula is poorly designed with no new clinical studies. It
is a shame that Revitalash had to lose its formula to Allergan (latisse).
I would say for length, yes, you will get that, but if they end up
falling out, you aren’t getting to keep them after all. Overall, for
the price and the irritation I experienced, I was not a big fan of
Revitalash. Even with longer lashes, it seemed like the negatives out
weighed the positives on this one.
PS. I was looking at my review which finally I looked up the price.
The price just kinda jumped out at me. I usually just look at the
price of something when I buy it and not necessarily how much I am
actually getting--especially when it comes to cosmetics. I guess after
seeing everything online, I noticed how little product I was getting
for the price! What a bummer!
I was using eyelash extensions to get long, sexy eyelashes—bad
idea! I finally realized that the more I used them, the worse my
lashes were looking. And it took forever for them to grow out.
I was super excited to help Lisa and everyone else out with this
eyelash product review.
Revitalash looked like a cool little treatment to test out so I was
pumped when I got mine in. I used it for like two months straight. You
have no idea how hard it was for me to remember every day! But it
totally paid off!
Where they were short and broken, my lashes were filling in and
growing in longer than the ones I had before. I didn’t really
experience as much of the excessive fallout that Lisa mentioned—but I
did have a lot of stinging and burning when I first applied it.
And at $150 I gotta admit, I was expecting no problems and really
quick results. Don’t get me wrong, if the product worked, it would be
worth paying for it. The price of paying for a tube, along with the
amount of irritation, and poor outcome, I think some of these other
products might be a better value.

Enormous
Lash Ranking for overall value: 2 stars User friendly: 90% (easy application, non-irritating formula) cost: $95 - 5 to 6 month supply amt: .2 oz
Since I had used the earlier version of Enormous Lash (Massive Lash-
sold through Intuit Beauty), the girls asked to put my two cents into
this review and give a comparison with the new Enormous Lash. The first
time I got such great results that I was happy to give it a 2nd review.
In fact, the first time around my lashes grew so much I literally had
to cut them one time. That was kinda crazy! I don't know exactly what
it is, but with this new formula I'm just not as impressed at all.
Considering the fact that my first review was a while back, I thought I would
jump online and do a little research to see what everyone online had to say
about Enormous Lash. I had done a little research and read good things about it,
but when I tried it I didn't really feel like it was doing as well as the last
time. I started thinking I had to be crazy, so I got back on message boards and
saw that several people felt the same way I did. Come to find out this product
wasn't the same as the one I tried a few years ago! Not only that, but it is now
being sold by a company called Beauty Society not Intuit Beauty. I couldn't find
out why they changed the formula or the company, but I think whatever the
reasons, they should go back to the original formulation. I can attest to the
fact that the original worked very well for me, but the new formula was just
mediocre.
Lynn R.
I've never really used that many beauty products before. So,
needless to say I don't consider myself an expert, much less qualified
to write a review. With this being new to me I can't guarantee it will
come out exactly right. I am just so glad to have the chance to be
included and hope I can offer some good information! :)
Well, after I was assigned to try out Enormous Lash, I went straight to the
computer to do my homework like any good reviewer would. I saw that there were
some products out there that seemed to be really effective. That certainly got
me all worked up about trying Enormous Lash. I was really hoping that it would
be one of those killer products.
Yet, no matter how much I wanted Enormous Lash to work, I just don't think it
was nearly as effective as I had hoped. It was easy to use and it didn't bother
my eyes. And, don't get me wrong I thought I saw a little bit of difference, but
I wasn't just impressed or shocked with how long or thick my lashes were at
least compared to what I had seen with friends who were using eyelash
stimulators. I am new at this, so maybe I didn't use it right or maybe I'm just
one of those people who don't respond well to products or treatments like this.
I really can't tell you if it was me or the product, but I did not see a big
difference in my lashes with this product.
At $95 it certainly wasn't cheap, but it is more reasonably priced than some
eyelash growth products. And, of course, I did feel like I saw some minor
improvements especially with my mascara on. It just definitely isn't something I
would try again.

Essential
Lash by Procyte Ranking for overall value: 1.5 stars User friendly: 60% (for relatively difficult application and little results) cost: $79 amt: .35
oz
Compared to the high prices of some of these other eyelash
conditioners, at $79 I thought Essential Lash was a steal. Now, if
only it actually worked!
I’ll start off by saying that the instructions called for me to get
this on to my eyelid and over my lashes, but gave me a big ole mascara
brush to use. Now really? How does that work without me poking myself
in the eye or getting it all over my eyelid? Obviously, I had some
problems with application.
It’s been a month now and haven't really seen any dramatic
difference at all. I should have probably known that a 100%
plant-based product with no active ingredient couldn't possibly
thicken or regrow my lashes faster than the normal growth cycle.
Maybe the vitamins and minerals in it are doing a little something
to help them look shinier and healthier—even a little thicker and more
voluminous when I applied mascara.
If you want to pick this up just as a volumizer and conditioner, I
would say go for it and the price really isn’t too bad. But, if you
actually want to grow your lashes, I would not recommend this product.
Leslie D.
Talika calls itself a French formulation that promises 100% plant
based hair growth. I did not see any of this whatsoever. I watched my
lashes each day and my mascara usage to see if I could notice any
additional volume or extra length. While I was incredibly religious in
my efforts, I only saw minimal changes. My lashes did seem to have
more of a shine to them and they also seemed a little thicker. It was
just hard for me to tell much change.
Also, it was somewhat awkward to apply this considering the brush
was so large. I kept poking myself in the eye with it, which caused
some irritation, but I don’t think that was from the formula. Oh yeah,
the formula itself also wasn’t what I would call a gel base. It was
much more watery than I expected.
If you want a moderately priced eyelash conditioner I would say
Talika is a good choice, but just don’t fall for the idea of “growing”
your lashes. I can’t say that it did for me and I wouldn’t hold my
breath if I were you either.
